Company
As an investment company, we invest in small and medium-sized companies, which are facing serious changes and are in need of financing. In addition, we also participate in business start-ups and support them as they move into successful self-employment. Our commitments take the form of open or silent investment and are not sector specific. We invest in companies in Germany and other European countries.
Established
Johanna Holding GmbH was founded in 2002 and is a private and independent holding company. We enter as a silent or open participant in companies that expect above-average growth opportunities combined with high profitability and have a competent management team. To the present day, 12 successful investments have been made in different sectors. As an investment company, we also offer qualified advice regarding your strategy and decision-making processes.
Business areas
COMPANY INVEsTMENTs
An example is the company KLAITON, in which we have been involved since 2016 and which has since been sold to the Haufe Group at the end of 2018. We partially supported KLAITON operationally in setting up its German activities, starting with the KLAITON office in Düsseldorf. KLAITON now operates under the name of Haufe Advisory. Another example is the investment in a fund company in Vienna at the end of 2020, which primarily concerns itself with the future industry of digital health.
Mandates
The second business area is the acquisition of advisory board and supervisory board seats by Dr. Michael Hürter. Dr. Hürter is an active member on the advisory board in a family holding of one of Europe’s market leading textile discounters and 1-dollar shops. In addition, he has been a member of the advisory board and supervisory board of the European market leader for tea and cereals in the private label business since 2009.
